I took Kal’el biking, but it was a completely different experience for him when Nate took him out biking.
I hovered way too much, but Nate let Kal’el run into the grass and fall a few times.
This is typical of the parent role instincts.
It was one of those times I had to bite my wrist and let Nate do his father thing.
Kal’el actually did a lot better with Nate, and got a lot more independent on the bike.
Of course, I ran to the store right after and bought Kal’el knee and elbow pads.
